The Project
Through the process of collaborative-design with the women at SASANE, we designed a new logo and a brand style guide in order to better communicate and spread SASANE's mission to more tourists and locals.
SASANE's Mission
SASANE is a women-led organization fighting against sex trafficking in Nepal. SASANE's Sisterhood of Survivors program teaches survivors the skills they need to find sustainable long-term work in the tourism industry, reducing the risk of being re-trafficked or abused.
Deliverables
Keeping the style guide concise and easy to follow was our top priority when we were outlining the deliverables. This meant mindfully selecting two strong typeface families, creating a distinct, yet comprehensive colour palette, and designing iconography that was logical and easy to understand. We also designed a new logo from scratch that we put through numerous rounds of workshopping with the women at SASANE along with our peers.
All of the elements we outlined were designed in order to make SASANE's visual language recognizable and easy to understand for locals and tourists alike.
